This year's UITP (International Association of Public Transport) trade fair took place in Dubai, UAE. From April 10 to 13, 2011, exhibitors from 34 countries presented their products and solutions. DILAX presented its newest offerings in fully automatic people counting and passenger counting systems for public transit. Focal points were the newest hardware developments of the PCU-200 series, and also the OptoCount system for counting people in public buildings such as train stations. In four days there was a lot of traffic at the DILAX booth and much interest in our passenger counters and people counters. The Terminal Expo trade fair in Copenhagen was also very successful for DILAX. At this airport-themed exposition the newest OptoCount system, specifically designed for use in public facilities such as airports, was presented. Representatives from airport operators in Germany and Europe showed keen interest in DILAX' high-end people counting systems.
